Steve Jones is founded by Stefano Cioni and, with the Buona brand, the company enters the food supplement business.
The new graphic design of Buona is created and the company focuses on children’s supplements, providing scientific information for paediatricians.
The second generation of the Cioni family, Stefano’s daughter and son, joined the company: Diletta and Edoardo. They inject new life into the company, which embarks on a major corporate restructuring and development process.
The internationalisation process begins and Buona reaches, in chronological order, Albania, Vietnam and Spain, where a new Branch is set up, and in South America, where a Representative Office for South America is opened.
This marks Buona's entry into the world of infant formula with the launch of the organic brand BBmilk.
The R&D department starts collaborating with prestigious Italian universities (Perugia, Campus Biomedico Rome, Florence).
Buona is included in the list of Italian companies driving the recovery, based on the average annual growth achieved in the three-year period 2018-2022.
Steve Jones evolves into Buona Spa Benefit Company. In the same year, the company embarks on a rebranding and strategic positioning journey.
